Royalux Scratch Card Promotion – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

This promotion is operated by Royalux Competitions Ltd, a skill-based competition business registered in Scotland (Company No. SC690158) (“Royalux”, “we”, “us”, or “the Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

2.1 Participation is strictly limited to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or older. Proof of age, address, and identity may be requested at any time.

2.2 Only one scratch card per household is permitted. Royalux reserves the right to void all entries from any household found to have submitted multiple claims.

2.3 Any individual subject to an account ban, suspension, or prior breach of Royalux rules is expressly prohibited from claiming or redeeming any prize.

2.4 Employees, contractors, affiliates of Royalux Competitions Ltd, and their immediate family members are ineligible to participate.

2.5 Royalux reserves the right to refuse any claim that does not meet all eligibility criteria, at its sole discretion.

3. Promotion Period

3.1 This promotion runs from 1st September 2025 to 11:59pm on 1st January 2026.

3.2 No claims will be accepted under any circumstances after the closing date. It is the sole responsibility of the participant to ensure timely submission.

4. Prize Structure

4.1 Every valid scratch card reveals a winning outcome, which may include one of the following:

4.2 Prize types are randomly pre-assigned to specific cards before distribution and cannot be influenced, changed, or negotiated.

4.3 Prizes are strictly non-transferable, non-exchangeable.

4.4 All physical and cash prizes are subject to verification and will only be awarded to verified claimants who comply fully with these Terms.

5. Entry & Claim Process

5.1 To claim, participants must create a free Royalux account at www.royaluxcompetitions.co.uk.

5.2 Claims must be submitted by emailing [email protected] using the same email address registered to the claimant’s Royalux account.

5.3 Royalux may require submission of valid, current photo ID and proof of address matching the account details. Failure to provide satisfactory documentation will result in the claim being voided.

5.4 Royalux reserves the right to contact any claimant to verify details and, if necessary, withhold a prize pending investigation.

5.5 All decisions made by Royalux regarding the validity of claims are final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.

5.6 Discount codes do not require a formal claim process. Where applicable, a discount code will be printed directly on the scratch card and may be entered at checkout on the Royalux website. The use of any discount code is entirely optional, does not affect eligibility for other prizes, and does not constitute a prize claim. Discount codes hold no cash value, are non-transferable, and are subject to any additional terms published on our website.

6. No Purchase Necessary

6.1 No purchase is required to participate or redeem any cash or physical prize.

6.2 All physical prize deliveries will be arranged and paid for by Royalux within the United Kingdom.

6.3 Discount codes may be redeemed at the claimant’s own choice. Their use is not required to claim any other prize.

7. Verification, Security & Disqualification

7.1 All scratch cards are traceable and digitally assigned. Royalux’s backend system logs all card codes, prize allocations, and claim data.

7.2 Royalux reserves the absolute right to refuse, void, or cancel any claim that:

• Originates from a duplicate household or account

• Involves altered, copied, damaged, or tampered cards

• Is submitted by a user previously suspended or flagged for abuse

• Is linked to false, incomplete, or misleading information

• Fails to match the prize allocation in Royalux’s internal systems

7.3 Any attempt to circumvent these rules, exploit the system, or submit false claims will result in permanent disqualification, forfeiture of all prizes, and may result in legal action or referral to authorities.

7.4 Royalux reserves the right to audit any claim and request supporting evidence prior to fulfilment.

8. Prize Fulfilment

8.1 Cash prizes will be paid by secure bank transfer to the verified claimant. Claimants must provide accurate payment details. Royalux is not liable for errors caused by incorrect information.

8.2 Physical prizes will be delivered to a verified UK address via tracked courier service.

8.3 Royalux is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or any issues arising from failure to respond to prize confirmation requests.

8.4 Site credit and discount codes will be applied to the claimant’s account where applicable.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Royalux shall not be liable for:

• Loss, damage, or failure caused by technical errors, miscommunication, system outages, or third-party failures

• Non-receipt of claims due to incorrect contact details or email filtering

• Any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in this promotion

9.2 Nothing in these Terms limits Royalux’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or fraud.

10. Data Protection

10.1 All personal data submitted will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy at www.royaluxcompetitions.co.uk/privacy.

10.2 By entering, claimants agree to the use of their information for prize verification and fulfilment.

10.3 Where marketing consent has been given, entrants may receive promotional messages. Opt-out options are available at all times.

11. General Provisions

11.1 Royalux reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel this promotion where reasonably necessary due to events beyond its control or to maintain the fairness and integrity of the competition.

11.2 Any breach of these Terms will result in immediate disqualification without notice.

11.3 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

11.4 Participation in this promotion constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

12. Public Announcement of Winners

12.1 In the interest of transparency and in line with industry best practice, the full name and general location (e.g. town or city) of prize winners may be publicly announced across Royalux platforms, including but not limited to social media, email marketing, and our website. This is to demonstrate that prizes have been genuinely awarded.

12.2 If you do not wish your name and location to be publicly disclosed, you must notify us in writing at the time of submitting your claim or as soon as reasonably possible thereafter by emailing [email protected].

12.3 Royalux will honour any valid objection in accordance with applicable data protection laws, but may be required to share limited winner details with regulators or governing bodies upon lawful request.
